The San Antonio Public Library

Since 1903, the award-winning San Antonio Public Library has been a vital center for free learning, knowledge, communication, culture and enjoyment for the whole community. Providing programs to everyone from newborns to seniors, gaming for teens, art classes, live homework help, and job search training, the Library is a community center in the truest sense of the word. With a world-class Central Library and 29 branch libraries throughout the city, and outstanding online resources, the San Antonio Public Library is as close as around the corner, the nearest computer or smartphone. The San Antonio Public Library also offers a special digital collection for all San Antonio Pubic Library patrons in remembrance of the Holocaust.

The San Antonio Public Library Foundation

The role of the San Antonio Public Library Foundation is to support the San Antonio Public Library system as it brings literacy and education to the people of San Antonio. The Foundation proudly supports The Holocaust – Learn and Remember project and hopes that it will create a sense of awareness and tolerance within this community and also encourage our citizens to view the Library as a resource and educational beacon. The Library Foundation has worked with the Library on the development and execution of this innovative program that will provide citizens with information on one of the most significant and life-changing events in history.
